I have a question cna PCBway make faceplates and backplates for a Zune
@@Roberkert that is a cool idea. Someone would need to create a 3D model of the Zune's body parts. The STL files could be sent to PCBway for 3D printing or injection molding.
Where do you get it from
Definitely will do this very soon! Is there any room to put some weights inside the 3d printed box?
I used to make kb like this 3 years ago. and its great for starters. But the moment i started using qmk for my boards it worked great! I manage to use NKRO among other functions.
buenas como le envio un café a UD en serio em ayudó con el zune ya lo creia muerto, le vambie la unidad SSD y fue nostálgico verlo funcionar de nuevo muchas gracias / Hi, how did I send you a coffee? Seriously, it helped me with the Zune, I already thought it was dead, I replaced the SSD unit and it was nostalgic to see it working again, thank you very much.
Im a little late to the party here, but i got a few B10k potentiometers - but the reading goes all the way to 4095, and even starts reading values from the other potentiometers if i turn it colpmetely. What am i doing wrong?
Hmm that sound board maybe having a faulty amp chip or try putting the connectors back out then in again
Its more than half a miracle to be able to solder on that scale using thick wires, a gunked up iron and barely any supports. I bet this could be done now with the latest bt module to great effect.
Attack Attack~!
Can you store game saves on that same SD card or would it be better to have the sd card adapter for game ISOs and an actual memory card for game saves?
I just got done modding a 5.5 gen iPod Video and I found this xD Once the modding scene picks up I would be tempted to Mod a Zune xD I loved my iPod back in the day though and its great to have it with 1 terrabyte of storage! I wonder what the Zune will be capable of!!!
how didyou know the pins 4, 6, 8, and 9 where analogue when they don't have the preceding A?
Taking a look at the pinout diagram will show you what each pin can be used for : arduino.stackexchange.com/questions/16392/arduino-pro-micro-analog-pinouts
@@MadModLabs Thank you so much! I've watched this video a hundred times before i got the courage to order all the items and make my own. :3
finding a working ide cable here in europe is harder than doing the mod. i will stay with an IDE Hdd.
Do you how many tracks it can shuffle after the ssd upgrade?
Was able to make my "mixer" work following all your instructions, however, my setup seems to forget what my potentiometers does when I close the Arduino IDE, even when the sketch is successfully uploaded, is there a fix for that?
Your music library looks similar to mine.

The one thing about the Og xbox modding hasn't come back is top windows for the disk drive and hard drive. Now i have a cnc i wont need to use a file/dremel/foul language to make my windows nice.
"This is the mistery Dick"
Hi do a 18 inch ata cable is enough?
Why not use a touch screen , i'm sure its more cheaper than all these components

how did you play the famicom on a tv in the US, I'm wondering if theres a easier way to play famicom on NTSC-U and PAL tvs
The famicom is connected with an RF adapter that was made for the NES. The TV must be set to channel 95/96 instead of 3/4.
@@MadModLabs any clue how to make this work on PAL tvs?
Man I wish you could do this to mine changed battery but still not working great video
“VOLUMES” Intake.. I was like 🤯😎!! That’s some gewd ass music bro. I love that shit! Old “Veil of maya” a common man’s collapse??!! Yeah?? Ha!
Can I mail you my Xbox and zune and just pay you to upgrade my things 🥲 you could easily have a business outta this
I need to find someone around me that can do this for my og zune
First off, thank you so much! My 55S405 was fixed by following the steps in your video! Unfortunately, I ended up getting a big drop of sweat on the diffusing plastic layers. I tried to dab it off with a microfiber cloth but it left a biggol smudge and of course it's showing up on the TV picture afterward. I did NOT try to use any cleaner or water for fear of making it worse. Is there any way to clear that up or do I just need to buy a new sheet?
I'm glad you got your TV working again! I would probably try a plastic safe cleaner to clean any of the layers that got wet. You may also want to clean the back side of the LCD. Just make sure all of the surfaces are dry and streak free before reassembling. I have had good results in the past by cleaning LCDs with a product called "invisible glass." I'm pretty sure it is plastic safe. Proceed at your own risk though. It is so easy to get debris or fingerprints on the screen while assembling.
The game gear was way ahead of its time
Bro what a speed-run to build keyboard loved this so much.
can i flash aladdin xt chip without programmer? direct on console? i have 1.6
How much would you charge to do this upgrade on a zune ?
The sound is awful, but shoutout for the video in general. Is it possible to create a hotswap custom board instead of wiring and soldering?
came here after a few Joe Scotto videos, and what you have said in the first 1.5 minutes is more then i got in 9 of his videos. the sole fact you mentioned all the software you are using and the fact to search else where for things you won't be showing in this video, is a million times more thoughtful of the viewer. Thank you for you time and hard work!
How did you get the original drive cable in?? I could not get it to go into my SSD's slot at all
The North America NES has 2 RAM chips but 1 is Program RAM & the 2nd is Video RAM. Does the Japanese Famicom use smaller capacity VRAM chips where it uses 2 instead of just 1?
Things I liked about the Zune were the screen, the plastic body and the theme. However I think the iPod was better in pretty much everything else especially controls. But yeah the Zune did have an amazing screen at the time.
Hey man, thanks to your guides i made my first handwired keyboard ever. It is just like i imagined, custom 3 printed case and layout i wanted. Thanks so much! Are you planning to do more tutorials on things like OLED screens, different types of encoders or other inputs? Most handwired keyboards i see are similar or existing layouts and i think having different inputs, buttons, scroll wheels, screens more in the scene would be amazing. Unfortunately there aren't many tutorials on handwired keyboards.
I'm glad to hear that you made your own keyboard. That is awesome! I will do more tutorials in the future, so thank you for sharing topics you are interested in seeing. Right now I am working on a project that has a 128 x 64 OLED screen. It is not a keyboard, but it is an input device!
Can I use arduino pro micro instead of this micro-controller ?
I modeled my own case and did this project from scratch, did the firmware manually too since the firmware builder is too outdated. There is only one question i have before assembling everything, i don't have the CC pins on my usb type-c board, only data -/+, ground and VCC pins. I'll see if it works but other than that it went really smooth! Thanks for the amazing tutorial.
Pro TIp. Turn the XBOX on for 10 minutes and then take off the GPU Heat sync. Then use WD-40 to get the residue off.
Can i use a arduino nano
I never got a zune but considered one after my 30GB Creative Zen Vision M broke. I tried to avoid the Ipod for so long because I didnt want to use itunes....ended up getting an ipod. Since then it has been diff iterations of ipods. Nanos, Classics and Touches. All second hand from ebay.
Amazing!!
At 0:37 you show what looks like a ansi 104. Can you point me to those files? I can't find any anywhere.
